Terms and conditions

These terms apply to every order placed on connextech.cy. The shop is operated by ConnexTech, [to be completed], company registration number [to be completed], VAT number [to be completed] ("we", "us"). You can reach us at [to be completed] or [to be completed].
1. Orders and contract
Products shown on the site are an invitation to order. Your order is an offer to buy; a contract is formed when we send you the order confirmation after your payment has been approved. If we cannot supply a product you have paid for, we tell you without delay and refund you in full.
We deliver within the Republic of Cyprus only.
2. Prices and payment
Prices are in euro and include VAT at the rate in force, unless a price is expressly shown without VAT. Delivery charges are shown at checkout before you pay. The price charged is the one shown at checkout at the moment you place the order.
Payment is by card through Revolut. We never see or store your full card details.
Despite our care, a product may occasionally be listed at an obviously wrong price. In that case we may cancel the order and refund you in full.
3. Business customers and Article 11E
Businesses registered for VAT in the Republic of Cyprus may buy mobile phones, tablets, laptops, game consoles and processors without VAT under Article 11E of the VAT Law (reverse charge), provided the VAT number is verified at checkout and the goods are bought for business purposes. The business customer accounts for the VAT itself. By using this option you confirm that the details you give are true; if they are not, you are liable for the VAT that was not charged and for any resulting penalties.
The right of withdrawal in section 6 applies to consumers only.
4. Delivery
We deliver by ACS courier to your address, to an ACS pickup point, or to a BOX NOW locker. Delivery estimates are shown on each product page and are indicative. Full details are in our delivery information.
Risk passes to you when you, or a person you name, take possession of the goods.
5. Availability
Stock levels are updated continuously from our suppliers but cannot be guaranteed. A product marked as available may, exceptionally, turn out not to be. We will then offer you a later delivery or a full refund.
6. Right of withdrawal (consumers)
If you are a consumer you may withdraw from your purchase within 14 days of receiving the goods, without giving a reason. How to do so, the exceptions and how refunds work are set out in our returns and withdrawal policy.
7. Guarantee
All products are covered by the legal guarantee of conformity under Cyprus and EU consumer law: two years from delivery for new products. Refurbished products carry a guarantee of 12 months from delivery, as stated on the product page. A manufacturer's commercial warranty, where there is one, applies in addition and does not limit your legal rights.
If a product is faulty, contact us at [to be completed] with your order number. You are entitled to repair or replacement free of charge and, where that is not possible or proportionate, to a price reduction or a refund.
The guarantee does not cover damage caused by misuse, accidents, unauthorised repair or normal wear.
8. Refurbished and graded products
Refurbished products are tested and fully working. Their cosmetic condition is described by a grade on the product page. Photographs of refurbished products may show a representative item of the same model rather than the exact unit you receive; where that is the case the page says so.
9. Liability
Nothing in these terms limits our liability where the law does not allow it. Otherwise we are not liable for indirect losses, loss of data or loss of profit. Please back up your data before sending a device for repair or return.
10. Personal data
We process your personal data as described in our privacy policy.
11. Complaints and governing law
Please contact us first; we will try to resolve any complaint quickly. Consumers may also turn to the Consumer Protection Service of the Republic of Cyprus or use alternative dispute resolution. These terms are governed by the law of the Republic of Cyprus, and the courts of Cyprus have jurisdiction, without affecting the mandatory rights of consumers.
