Tapo C500

1. Complete 360° situational awareness. Unlike fixed cameras that only see one direction, the C500 features a motorized pan and tilt system that provides full 360° horizontal and 130° vertical coverage. This allows you to eliminate blind spots by remotely rotating the lens through the Tapo app, and it even includes smart motion tracking that automatically follows a person as they move across your property, ensuring they stay in the frame until they are out of sight.2. Smart AI detection and active deterrence. The camera is equipped with on-device AI that can distinguish between humans and other moving objects like pets or swaying branches, which significantly reduces the number of ""false"" notifications sent to your phone. To go a step further, it features a customizable sound and light alarm; you can record your own voice or a siren to play automatically when a person is detected, serving as a powerful deterrent to ward off unwanted visitors before they reach your door.3. Robust outdoor durability with flexible storage. Built to handle the elements, the C500 has an IP65 weatherproof rating, meaning it can withstand heavy rain, snow, and dust without skipping a beat. It also offers the freedom of choice regarding your footage: you can avoid monthly subscription fees entirely by using a microSD card (up to 512GB) for local 24/7 recording, or you can opt for Tapo Care cloud storage if you prefer having an encrypted backup accessible from anywhere.
